NIHR Nursing & Midwifery May 2025 Event Registration
The National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Nursing and Midwifery Office is hosting a hybrid full day event to celebrate International Nurses Day and International Day of the Midwife on Thursday 8th May 2025.

In response to the success of last year we have decided to make this year’s celebration a hybrid event. For colleagues able to join us in person, the event will take place on 8th May 2025 at Conference Aston, Birmingham and will be free to attend. We aim to make this a truly inclusive event that recognises and celebrates the diverse roles and settings where nurses and midwives practice.
It will be an occasion to celebrate the achievements of research active nurses and midwives. For research curious nurses and midwives, we will share ideas on how you can become involved in supporting, delivering and leading research.
The day will include an exciting programme of speakers, discussion sessions, posters and another chance to face the friendly panel of Dragons to pitch for £1,000 to support a research initiative.

‘Nurses and midwives are at the heart of plans for research in England, with shared goals to make research everyone’s business. Please join us to celebrate some of the amazing achievements from 2024. We will also share with you our plans for the future.’
